Nestled within a stunning natural area, this campsite enjoys a prime location with direct access to a beautiful beach via a scenic nature path, entirely avoiding busy roads. The spacious pitches comfortably accommodate tents and caravans, and their layout along a pleasant cycling route ensures a serene and uncrowded atmosphere. Visitors particularly appreciate the site's tranquility during off-peak seasons like October, and the family-friendly atmosphere generally receives praise. However, the experience is frequently overshadowed by the management's strict enforcement of rules, which many guests find excessive and inconsistent. Reports from recent years highlight invasive behavior, such as staff entering tents unannounced and rigid policies regarding items like plastic groundsheets, leading to practical discomforts like standing water on pitches. The sanitary facilities, while consistently clean and well-maintained, are dated and basic, with showers operating on a token system that many find inconvenient. The lack of warm water for dishwashing and insufficient toilet facilities for certain areas add to the list of minor grievances. Although the Wi-Fi connection is excellent, the absence of fresh bread rolls on site is a noticeable drawback for some. The friendliness of the staff has seen a notable decline, with many describing them as unfriendly and the management as ill-suited for the role. This has led to a significant drop in satisfaction among returning guests, who feel the once-high standards have deteriorated. The combination of high prices and basic amenities results in poor value for money for many visitors. While the natural beauty and cleanliness of the site are undeniable, these regulatory issues and management conduct raise serious concerns for potential campers.
