Camping De Haro places you at the heart of the Rioja wine region, within an easy 10-minute walk of the historic town centre and its famous bodegas. The campsite is consistently praised for its outstanding cleanliness and well-maintained facilities, with modern toilets and showers kept immaculately clean by attentive staff. Guests appreciate the friendly and efficient reception team, who speak English and provide helpful local information. Pitches vary in size, with some spacious and quiet spots at the back, while others can be snug, particularly for larger caravans; most enjoy good shade. The sanitary blocks are functional and kept to a high standard, though they are not particularly spacious. The swimming pool area is a highlight during summer, featuring water slides and a separate children's pool, but sunbathing space can be limited, and seasonal restrictions may apply. An indoor pool is available during cooler months, though it is only one metre deep. Sports amenities include a football and basketball court, climbing wall, fronton, and zip line, but there is no organised children's activity programme. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food from early morning until late, but is closed on Tuesdays. Weekend noise from loud groups and unsupervised children can disturb the peace, and a more active enforcement of quiet hours would be welcome. The entrance road poses challenges with potholes and a narrow bridge, making access tricky for larger vehicles and wide caravans. The surrounding area offers excellent wine tourism, with numerous bodegas, monasteries, and walking routes nearby, as well as a lively town that comes alive after 20:30 with inviting terraces. A pleasant riverside stroll leads directly into Haro, where a large supermarket, shops, and eateries await.
