However, in recent years the sanitary facilities have become outdated and in need of renovation, with showers fixed at over 40 degrees Celsius and no temperature adjustment. The site has also lost its former swimming pool, which is no longer available. The campsite now consists mainly of one large field with a car park and about ten outdated mobile homes, making it more suited to camper vans than tent campers. Tent guests, especially those with rooftop tents or small setups, may struggle, particularly if they have short electric cables. Management can be disorganized, with occasional mix-ups over pitch assignments. Despite these issues, the staff remain extraordinarily helpful, energetic, and knowledgeable about local queries. The tram stop right at the doorstep makes urban exploration effortless, and the site is surprisingly tranquil given its central city location. Sanitary facilities are maintained to a decent standard, and communal mini kitchen areas with a fridge freezer are available for cooking or barbecuing. Overall, this campsite works best as a peaceful urban base for a short stopover, thanks to its excellent transport links and attentive service.
