Pitches are generally spacious, a point of praise in several reviews, but they can become muddy after rain. The most significant and consistent complaints revolve around the sanitary facilities, which are frequently reported as dirty, outdated, and lacking basic amenities like toilet paper and hot water. Mixed-gender shower and toilet blocks are a common source of discontent. A noticeable sewage odor on the site and the presence of many long-term residents contribute to a less-than-ideal atmosphere for some. The on-site restaurant offers a simple pizza and bar service, but recent reviews describe takeaway salads in plastic containers and wine in cardboard cups.
