This campsite enjoys a prime location directly across from the beach and a short walk from the center of Torre del Mar, making it an excellent base for coastal exploration. A scenic promenade connects the site to numerous bars, restaurants, and shops, while a large shopping center with a supermarket is five kilometers away. The beach is pebbly and the area can be very windy, but its proximity is a major draw. Cyclists will appreciate the superb coastal bike path leading to Málaga, and day trips to El Torcal, Antequera, Nerja, and the Caminito del Rey are easy. The on-site Italian restaurant is a standout, serving excellent pizza and coffee, though it may close in late September. A small shop offers limited supplies but provides a morning bread service. Pitches are generally adequate for motorhomes and caravans, often with water, electricity, and drainage. However, they lack privacy due to an absence of separating hedges, and some are narrow with awkward access. The large swimming pool is a pleasant feature, with comfortable loungers, though aggressive tree pruning has reduced shade and opening hours can be irregular. Cleanliness is consistently praised, especially in the sanitary facilities, which are well-maintained and include family bathrooms and a dishwasher area. Ample washers and dishwashers add convenience, and a free car wash station is available. The staff is frequently described as friendly and welcoming, though a rare negative encounter regarding ID copying has been noted. The atmosphere shifts from quiet in winter to lively in summer, with children's entertainment adding to the family-friendly vibe. Many pitches are occupied by long-stay winter visitors, and noise from departing guests can occur on holiday weekends. A dedicated dog beach two minutes away is a highlight for pet owners. Free WiFi has been excellent in recent years, though one season reported no signal. Overall, this campsite balances a superb location and improved facilities with some drawbacks in pitch comfort and service consistency.
