Camping Albir is a beachfront campsite on the Costa Blanca, popular with long-stay Dutch visitors and offering direct access to a pebble beach and a lively boulevard with restaurants and shops. The location is excellent, with easy walking or cycling to nearby towns like Albir, Altea, and Calpe, and several supermarkets are within reach. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly and helpful, often speaking Dutch, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Cleanliness receives mixed reviews: showers and toilets are cleaned daily and are often spotless, but some negative reports highlight mold, damaged tiles, and broken locks in the main sanitary block, especially in recent years. The campsite is very quiet at night, with well-enforced quiet hours, though daytime noise from long-term guests can be an issue. Long-stay Dutch seniors dominate the site, and some families with children report an unwelcoming, even hostile social environment, earning poor marks for child friendliness. Pitches lack clear demarcation and privacy, giving a messy impression, and the site is described as needing renovation. Facilities include a tennis court, padel court, petanque, dog-washing station, laundry, and excellent WiFi. A baker visits in the mornings, and there are multiple water points. However, no swimming pool is available, and the beach is across the road. Safety management was criticized in 2021 for staying open during a COVID-19 outbreak with over 30 cases. Value for money is debated: some find the price-quality ratio excellent, while others consider it expensive for the aging amenities. Overall, the campsite is best suited for senior long-term wintering guests who value location and peace, but less ideal for families or those seeking modern facilities.

Nice campsite with friendly Dutch speaking staff. The pebble beach is beautiful and there's a lot to do around here.

nice location and good showers, but the toilet is poorly maintained and the regular guests think they can do anything. The terrain is cluttered and not exactly delimited.

The surroundings are beautiful but the campsite is not suitable for young children. The atmosphere of the winters is very unpleasant and we didn't feel welcome. Sanitary is dirty and broken.

Big campsite with everything on and off. Beach at the door, friendly staff, clean showers. It's a long walk to the bathroom if you're standing behind.

It's a beautiful location right on the beach. The sanitary facilities are very clean. Perfect for the winter. But not a pool.
