This campsite, situated just a ten-minute walk from a historic town along the sea, offers a convenient base for exploring the region. Its location provides beautiful, open sea views that many guests appreciate. However, the site has experienced significant fluctuations in quality and maintenance over recent years. In its earlier seasons, it was described as cramped, dirty, and neglected, with only ten small spots for travelers and the rest occupied by permanent residents. Sanitary facilities were repeatedly criticized for being in a poor state, often lacking toilet seats, toilet paper, and warm water. Hot water for showers has required purchasing a special card in many years, a detail not always mentioned during check-in. Staff reception has been inconsistent, with some years reporting friendly, welcoming service and others noting communication difficulties due to limited English. The grounds have often felt chaotic and messy, cluttered with old caravans and makeshift structures. Noise can be an occasional issue, with a nearby railroad and a weekend discotheque sometimes disturbing the peace. Italian seasonal guests have also contributed to noise at times, though early-season visits have proven more tranquil. On the positive side, the Wi-Fi connection has been reported as very good in one standout year. The campsite seems to prioritize mobile home guests, which may affect the experience for tent campers. Overall, this site is better suited as a short-term stopover for sightseeing rather than a longer, relaxing stay, lacking any special comfort or luxury.
