Camping & Bungalows Poros Beach
Camping & Bungalows Poros Beach sits on the Ionian island of Póros, directly beside the sea. One of Greece’s oldest campsites, it opened in 1974 and remains a favorite among travelers. The property stretches across 1.7 hectares at an elevation of just 9 meters. Guests consistently rank it among the top ten camping destinations in the country. The campsite offers 60 touring pitches, each ranging from 10 to 132 square meters. Eighty percent of tent and caravan spots nestle under enormous olive trees, berry trees, and climbing vines. These shaded pitches lie between 60 and 100 meters from the shore. Every pitch comes equipped with an electrical hookup. The beach here is made of smooth pebbles, adding a natural charm to the coastline. For those seeking more comfort, there are 40 rental accommodations available, including family studios. The family studios sit on a hillside beneath trees, 100 to 150 meters from either the beach or the pool. Each studio includes a bedroom for two adults and one or two children, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchenette, TV, and air conditioning. Bed linens change every four days, and the unit is cleaned every two days. Dogs are allowed upon prior request, so pet owners should notify the campsite ahead of time. The staff consists of young people dedicated to making every guest feel at home. Cleanliness is a top priority, and the facilities are kept spotless. The campsite undergoes an annual inspection by the ACSI team, which checks over 200 facility and service points. Inspector Ms. H.A.A.M. Moonen visits every year to ensure quality and safety. The campsite is open from April 15 to October 15, operating as a non-naturist site without special disability access. WiFi is available for free in the rental units, and parking is also complimentary.
