While on-site sports facilities are limited, the surrounding forested area provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities. The location is highly rated, just five minutes by car from the tourist town of Braunlage. Guests appreciate the overall value for money, and the staff's hospitality is a standout feature. Cleanliness is consistently praised, and the quiet environment enhances relaxation. The campsite features a bread roll service and the ability to exchange gas bottles. The on-site restaurant is simple but highly praised for its food quality. Families with children will find it a suitable destination. The surrounding Harz region offers plenty to explore by car, though cycling on public roads with significant elevation changes is challenging even with e-bikes. Winter season information, such as snow chain requirements and water supply changes (water only at the sanitary building in winter), is not provided in advance. Wastewater disposal is only available at the sanitary building, and the sloping terrain makes the walk difficult. Mobile signal is very weak inside caravans, and free WiFi only reaches about half of the site.
