This campsite is nestled in a naturally beautiful, lush environment that once made it a standout destination. Unfortunately, the property has fallen into disrepair and shows clear signs of age and neglect. The overgrown surroundings still provide a sense of seclusion and greenery, but guests today will notice worn facilities and a general air of dilapidation. Despite its current state, the location retains an inherent scenic appeal. Recent visitors describe the campsite as dirty, gloomy, and poorly maintained, with sanitation facilities and pitches suffering from neglect. High grass clumps and dead branches add to the unkempt atmosphere, and overhanging branches pose a risk of vehicle damage. Maneuvering into the camping spots is reportedly difficult. The swimming pool had an unsightly layer of algae on its walls, deterring swimming entirely. Many feel the site's four-star rating is unjustified and should be lowered to two stars. A major drawback is the campsite's location directly next to a very busy road, resulting in constant traffic noise. The only positive point mentioned is that cyclists can reach the ferry to Ajaccio reasonably quickly, though the road is considered dangerous for cycling. In the low season, the site feels more spacious and uncrowded, and with an ACSI card, electricity is included in the early-season price. A good bakery is located just outside the campsite, and the harbor is a 15-minute bike ride away. However, overall, travelers do not recommend this campsite for a return visit, as the situation has not improved over several years. A much-needed renovation would go a long way toward reviving its former charm.
