Several reviews mention a significant number of abandoned old caravans scattered around the site, creating an untidy appearance. There are recurring complaints about the campsite's management, particularly regarding financial policies: guests who shorten their stay often do not receive refunds, and ACSI cards are not always accepted on premium pitches. The restaurant has been reported as closed on multiple occasions, and some guests found the site less dog-friendly than advertised due to cleanliness issues. Toilet and shower facilities receive mixed reviews, with some describing them as outdated or dirty. The grounds are also noted to have a persistent smell of dog waste on the pathways. Some guests reported issues with the shower system, which uses a wristband that barely works and only allows five minutes. The campsite had nice sanitary and friendly staff, but the wristband shower system was working poorly, and we only got five minutes. The tour venues were small and there was dog poop. Not a recommendation to us.
