Nestled at the foot of the mountains in the heart of Piedmont, this small-scale campsite has evolved into a wonderfully peaceful and cozy retreat beloved by nature lovers and families alike. The serene environment provides a perfect base for exploring the surrounding region, with shopping in Cuneo or Mondovì, natural parks, ski slopes, and day trips to Turin or the Riviera just an hour away. Guests are welcomed by the exceptionally friendly owner Mauricio, who goes out of his way to provide fantastic local knowledge, detailed maps, market day information, and even advice on dog-friendly beaches. The pitches are mostly shaded by trees on open, pleasant terrain and are spacious, giving guests plenty of room to unwind. The swimming pool is a highlight, well-maintained and enjoyable for a refreshing dip during summer, and a kiosk operates beside it in the warmer months. For families, there are play facilities to keep children entertained, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and intimate, ideal for a relaxed holiday. A nearby shop on the main road sells pure local products such as bread, honey, and cheese, all described as delicious, and there are affordable restaurants, pizzerias, bars, and chocolatiers in the area. Wine lovers will appreciate easy access to the renowned Barolo and Alba wine regions, and the local Piedmontese cuisine is exceptional. While the sanitary facilities are a bit dated, they are kept very clean, though they can feel cramped during busier periods. WiFi is available but connectivity can be poor, limiting online access for guests who need it. The campsite is highly recommended for its tranquility, value for money, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a solid choice for a relaxing holiday in a natural setting.
