Camping Bel Air Village Le Brabois
This campsite is conveniently located near Nancy, serving as an excellent transit stop or base for visiting the city's beautiful old town and landmarks like Villa Marjorelle. It offers spacious pitches, many with paved surfaces, and is easily accessible by highway and public transport. The grounds are tidy with green grass and plenty of shade, and there are nice walking paths in the adjacent park with views over Nancy. The swimming pool is a highlight, open until mid-October, and the on-site restaurant is recommended for its quality and warm welcome. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, though check-in can sometimes be slow. The campsite is affordable, especially in low season. However, the main drawback is the outdated and poorly maintained sanitary facilities, which are repeatedly described as dirty, with broken toilets, no flushing water, no warm water for showers, and insufficient numbers. Water access is problematic, with limited fresh water points and occasional disruptions. Waste bins overflow, and electrical hookups are unreliable. Despite these issues, the campsite remains practical for short stays, with a beautiful setting and a family-friendly atmosphere, including a playground and activities for children. Guests renting premium cottages have had wonderful stays, but tent campers face significant shortcomings.
