Nestled along the banks of the Ardèche, this family-run campsite offers a simple, friendly, and tranquil atmosphere, highly suitable for a relaxing holiday. Run by two exceptionally kind brothers, the site feels welcoming and convivial, with guests praising the clean and well-maintained facilities. During peak season, the campsite operates at near-full capacity, making advance reservations essential. After 22:45, the grounds become quiet and peaceful, with only limited animation activities such as pétanque tournaments for French guests. Pitches are spacious, though trees occasionally stand in the middle of them, which can make positioning a caravan and awning tricky. Most pitches offer plenty of shade, with only a few receiving full sun, and the access roads are narrow, giving a slightly snug feel. Sanitary blocks are kept tidy, but with only six men's showers for the entire site in high season, queuing can occur; hot water, however, is available all day at both sinks and showers. The restaurant serves a small menu that surpasses basic cafeteria quality, offering quick and affordable meals, while the on-site shop is very limited, functioning mostly as a bread service counter. A small but clean swimming pool is available, never too crowded as many guests prefer the nearby Ardèche river, which is wide, deep, and perfect for swimming. The campsite also features a large sandy beach with both sunny spots and shaded areas under trees, adding to its natural charm. WiFi is only accessible near reception and remains unreliable, but the overall value, cleanliness, and ideal location for a quiet vacation make this a place guests would happily revisit. The owners go above and beyond, making it clear that nothing is left to chance in creating a welcoming environment. A highlight is the acceptance of the ACSI CampingCard, which offers excellent value during the low season. The campground is also an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with many attractions and outdoor adventures nearby.
