This beachside campsite in Benicàssim offers an enviable location just meters from the sea and a short walk from the lively town center, which buzzes with activity on weekends. The surrounding area features a beautiful, very long beach and a 5‑kilometer coastal path ideal for walking, running, or cycling, with mountain routes also easily accessible. Reception staff are consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, making for a welcoming arrival. However, the campsite suffers from severely outdated infrastructure that has been neglected over recent years. Pitches are narrow and awkwardly long, bordered by small trees, and many guests found them tight for a caravan, awning, and car. The sanitary facilities are widely regarded as very old and in need of replacement, with only a few points offering hot water and no hot water for washing dishes. Cleanliness of the toilets and showers has been a recurring complaint, with some stays reporting dirty conditions. The swimming pool area lacks lounge chairs, and the on‑site restaurant was closed in a recent season, limiting dining options. Electricity is provided at the pitch, and Wi‑Fi is available for an extra fee and works well. The area is peaceful and beautiful, with restaurants, bars, and supermarkets within easy reach. Despite the aging facilities, some long‑stay guests have reported enjoyable visits. The campsite’s refusal to honor ACSI rates and the overall cost have been criticized as not offering good value. Travelers seeking modern amenities or consistent upkeep may want to consider alternatives.
