The spacious pitches come in two styles: some allow caravans to remain hitched for quick departures, while others are separated by hedges for privacy, offering a choice of sun or shade depending on your preference. Sanitary facilities include modern, immaculately clean blocks in transit areas and older ones that are still well-maintained, though they can get busy during peak times and the older block shows some wear. The on-site restaurant is a standout feature, serving delicious French cuisine with a cozy terrace atmosphere; dishes like sea bass fillet and steak with pepper sauce receive rave reviews, but it closes on Tuesdays and reservations are recommended. A separate snack bar serves frozen items that are best avoided due to long queues and high prices. The riverside location is perfect for cycling, walking, fishing, and watersports, with flat terrain leading to scenic routes through vineyards and picturesque villages like Tournus and Mâcon within easy cycling distance. Evening ambiance is enhanced by a communal fire pit and boho-style bar, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for mingling. The site offers two pools—a small main pool that can feel crowded when full and a children’s pool—along with organized activities, a petting zoo with goats and an alpaca, sports fields, bike rentals, and a playground for kids. Dogs are welcome and can swim in the river, though the dedicated dog area disappoints. Note a 2.8-meter height restriction on the bridge near the entrance, requiring larger vehicles to take a longer diversion. Waste disposal could improve, as bins occasionally overflow, and internal roads could use gravel or asphalt upgrades.
