This campsite has been a favorite for over a decade, offering a peaceful, shaded retreat near the sea and historic sites. It is praised for its quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-maintained swimming pool, which is cleaned daily and available until late September. The location is beautiful, close to Grado and adjacent to a cycle path that connects to the Alpe-Adria route, making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts. The site is suitable for families with children and seniors, providing pure relaxation. The pitches are large, fully shaded, and well-maintained, contributing to a serene environment. Sanitary facilities are simple but clean, with some modernized blocks cleaned twice daily. A small supermarket is conveniently located directly opposite, and excellent restaurants are nearby, including one adjacent with a lovely terrace. The area is rich in history and culture, with Roman excavations, a basilica, and a historic town within walking distance. Visitors also recommend the National Museum and a day trip to Udine. The campsite is dog-friendly, with a dedicated dog walking area. Despite some outdated playground equipment and poor WiFi, the overall experience is highly rated for tranquility and natural surroundings. Repeated guests return year after year for the peace and simplicity, describing it as camping in its purest form. The staff, especially owner Monica, are exceptionally helpful and attentive, even during medical emergencies. The quietness and simple charm are highly valued, making it an oasis of tranquility and culture. However, some guests noted many bugs from the trees and church bells ringing early in the morning. Overall, it is a spacious, shaded, and well-managed campsite with good connections for exploration.
