Cleanliness is a standout feature, with bathrooms and toilets maintained spotless throughout the day by dedicated staff. The swimming pool and playground are major hits with children, making the site family-friendly. Dog owners also find it an excellent choice. Recent improvements include modern new showers and faster internet. The warm and welcoming staff remain a constant positive, and the site offers good value for money. However, credit card payments have been repeatedly problematic due to claimed network issues. Some campers note the ground is very hard for pitching tent pegs. The swimming pool is locked early at 20:00. Sanitary facilities have been inconsistent: the lower ones are extremely dirty and infested, while upper ones are better but still unwashed. Small stone benches and tables can be uncomfortable and only seat up to four. Overall, the campsite combines breathtaking scenery, excellent facilities, and friendly service for a memorable stay.
