Camping Alicante Imperium
Camping Imperium is a well-regarded campsite located near the coastal town of Villajoyosa, offering easy access to beaches and attractions like Benidorm and Alicante. The campsite consistently receives praise for its cleanliness, particularly the modern and well-maintained sanitary facilities. Staff are frequently commended for being friendly, helpful, and multilingual, with Dutch-speaking receptionists often mentioned. Pitches are generally spacious and well-defined, often with water taps and drainage, though some guests have reported uneven or smaller spots. The swimming pool is a highlight, described as clean, quiet, and open from early April, though some note it may be unheated in winter. The on-site restaurant serves freshly prepared regional dishes at reasonable prices, with pleasant terraces and sunset views. A small shop provides essentials. The campsite is within walking distance of Villajoyosa and a short tram ride to Alicante or Benidorm, making it ideal for exploring the Costa Blanca. However, noise can be an issue: some guests mention barking dogs from nearby houses, and several reviews note disturbances from an adjacent ecopark or municipal waste collection point, especially in recent years. There are occasional complaints about pitch allocation not matching online descriptions. Wi-Fi quality varies, with some finding it poor or free but slow. Pitches offer good privacy with hedges in many areas, but some are less sunny. The site is suitable for winter stays and stopovers, but longer stays may be affected by noise and occasional facility maintenance issues. Overall, the campsite is highly recommended for its value, cleanliness, and location, with many guests returning multiple times.

Nice campsite with a lovely swimming pool and spacious spots. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise from the garbage dump next to the campsite, which really bothered us.

Camping is good for a short stay. The location is close to the coast and the town is ideal. The staff is friendly. The only downside is the noise from the nearby garbage disposal service, but it's not a big deal.

The campsite is large with fences on the sites, but the sanitation is very modern and clean. The pool's nice, but not heated. restaurant has good food and a nice terrace. A friendly reception that speaks multiple languages.

Disappointed with the assignment. We booked a large parking space, but got a small sandy one. The reception wasn't helpful. The terrain was very crowded, sardine-like. However, the sanitary facilities are modern. The pool is nice but not heated.
