This campsite is nestled in the mountains, offering a unique former railway line turned into a scenic cycling path, known as the Via Verde, which is ideal for e-bikes and fit cyclists. The location serves as a great base for exploring the nearby Rioja region. Pitches are spacious grassy plots with generous space for motorhome waste disposal, though they lack natural separation for privacy. The washrooms are brand new and modern, but cleanliness has been inconsistent, with some reports of suboptimal sanitation. The on-site restaurant serves family meals and pintxos at reasonable prices, with friendly staff, though English may be limited. There is a small shop for essentials, but for a wider selection, guests need to travel 8 kilometers. A large swimming pool and big sports field cater to active guests, and bicycles are available for rent with a dedicated bike washing station. Children can enjoy a riding school, making it family-friendly. However, weekends can become quite noisy with entertainment until midnight, and there are permanent seasonal pitches that add to the bustle. The chemical toilet disposal area is separate and only equipped with a standard toilet, which is not ideal. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, this campsite combines outdoor adventure with convenience, but improvements in noise management and sanitary upkeep would enhance the experience.
