The pitches are often described as flat, spacious, and shady, well-suited for larger motorhomes and trailers. On-site amenities include a well-run bar and a small shop that offers fresh bread and pastries with advance ordering, adding convenience. However, the campsite's facilities, particularly the shower and toilet blocks, are consistently noted as tired, dated, and in need of refurbishment, leading some to use their own campervan amenities. Showers have been a recurring point of dissatisfaction due to lukewarm water and unreliable hot water supply. While the site is generally small-scale and intimate, noise can become an issue, especially from groups with children or dogs in the surrounding area, impacting tranquility at times. Pitches can be tight for larger vehicles, and water points for motorhomes are limited, presenting some practical challenges.
