This terraced campsite sits in a stunning hilly region, offering easy access to charming local villages for exploration. It fosters a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The site features a superb swimming pool that stands out as a highlight. Pitches are spacious and allow guests to choose their own spot, adding a sense of freedom. Regular communal dinners and snacks for lunch create a friendly and social atmosphere. However, access is a significant challenge, especially for caravans—the steep gravel road can cause towing vehicles to lose traction. There have been reports of caravans getting stuck and nearly overturning, requiring external assistance. Disappointingly, staff engagement during emergencies has been poor, with no offers of help or check-ins from management or workers. The sanitary facilities are limited and in need of modernization; renovated showers are not cleaned as thoroughly as before. Staff no longer make regular rounds or invite guests to communal meals, which was a previously appreciated practice. During storms, some guests got stuck in the mud without offers of assistance, leading to disappointment given past high standards. The site is not conveniently reachable by bicycle for errands, which can be a limitation. Overall, the campsite has notable positives in location and social activities, but access difficulties and declining service quality are major drawbacks. The surrounding natural beauty and pool remain major draws, but improvements in road access, staff responsiveness, and facility maintenance would elevate the experience.
