Nestled in a magnificent mountain landscape, this small, well-kept campsite offers a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking views alongside the Soca River. The peaceful environment receives consistent praise, making it an ideal retreat for a quiet night's sleep. Guests appreciate the large, spacious pitches that provide plenty of room and ample shade from trees, ensuring a sense of privacy without feeling crowded. The friendly and helpful staff are frequently commended for their professionalism and kindness, with many speaking excellent English to assist international visitors. Sanitary facilities are extremely clean and well-maintained, with warm water always available in the showers. However, the showers are located near the entrance, requiring a long walk in the dark after sunset, and on the upper field there are no showers at all. The campsite is a perfect base for outdoor activities like kayaking, rafting, canyoning, and cycling, with equipment rentals and trip organization available on site. There is no restaurant or shop on the premises, but basic supplies and quick meals can be found at a neighboring campsite, while the nearby town of Bovec offers supermarkets, bars, and eateries a short drive away. The site is set up for self-sufficient camping, with shelters, tables, benches, outdoor kitchens, and barbecues available for guest use. Water and waste disposal services are lacking for motorhomes, as there is no grey water or fresh water hookup. Check-in involves being escorted to your pitch by the owner on an electric scooter, adding a personal touch. Wi-Fi is available but only reliably at the reception area. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge, and there are open areas where they can run freely. Despite minor drawbacks like limited reception hours and cash-only payments, the campsite's serene atmosphere, beautiful location, and well-maintained facilities make it a place many are eager to revisit.
