Camp Peskera offers a quiet, peaceful stay ideal for solo travelers with folding caravans, but has inconsistent quality across years. In 2021, the campsite featured weekly sales of fresh regional products twice a week and fair value for money, though staff were not very accommodating, WiFi was limited to the bistro, and beach access was difficult. Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly but had moldy silicone joints and too few sanitizer dispensers. The bistro only opened for evening drinks. The evening porter could be grumpy. By 2022, the site had significant decline: staff were unfriendly, the restaurant was closed except for breakfast, the beach was unattractive, and rats were reported on front row pitches, causing many campers to leave early. In 2023, staff were friendly and helpful, WiFi was upgraded to cover pitches, and sanitary facilities were simple but clean; however, red clay soil on some pitches was challenging and extra per-person fees were not clearly advertised. The site remained quiet and safe. In 2024, the campsite had only six very small, poorly marked pitches lacking water access and proper pathways, with a stony beach and minimal facilities, raising questions about its four-star rating. Overall, Camp Peskera is a mixed bag, suitable for self-sufficient campers seeking tranquility but with notable variability in service, amenities, and cleanliness over the years.
