This lakeside campsite offers a mixed experience that has evolved significantly over the years. In its earlier seasons, it was a fantastic destination praised for its peaceful atmosphere and spacious pitches, especially during the quieter pre-season period. Guests enjoyed a wealth of outdoor activities like swimming, hiking, and cycling, making it an ideal base for exploration. The on-site restaurant staff were notably friendly and welcoming, contributing to an overall positive experience that prompted many visitors to plan return trips. However, more recent reports paint a considerably different picture. The choice of restaurant and the staff encountered can now greatly affect your visit, as service and food quality have become inconsistent. The lake setting remains a pleasant backdrop, and the site's multiple fields allow for pitch selection. Yet, overcrowding has become a significant issue, with the site not enforcing a maximum capacity and placing late arrivals on roadside berms and parking areas, sometimes with awnings extending onto the road. Noise continues well past 22:00, and rubbish bins are emptied from 06:00, disrupting sleep. Many dogs run freely, leaving droppings across the grounds, and cars drive around the site at night. Clean sanitary facilities are a plus, but lukewarm showers are now the norm. Pitch privacy has diminished, and the overall experience is marred by a lack of nighttime tranquility. The once-strong reputation for quietness and staffing has faded, leaving a site with beautiful potential but current operational challenges.
