The site is immaculately kept, with shower and toilet blocks that visitors consistently praise for their spotless condition, reliable hot water, and key-card entry for security. Pitches are generally level and generously sized, with electric hookups available. The owners and staff are frequently described as friendly, helpful, and full of local knowledge, offering excellent advice on walking routes and activities. The location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with wonderful walks to waterfalls and easy access to key attractions like Dan yr Ogof Caves and Henrhyd Falls. While a busy road is nearby, the campsite itself remains quiet, especially at night, and offers dark skies for stargazing. Some guests noted that facilities can be a fair walk from pitches at the far end, and the shower floor may be slippery when wet. Non-electric pitches are grouped in a central area with little tree cover, which can limit privacy, and the entrance through the pub car park may feel intimidating when busy.
