Perched on elevated terrain, this campsite unfolds panoramic vistas that captivate from multiple angles. Pitches are generously proportioned, often separated by hedges that carve out private nooks. The welcome from owner Inge and her husband is consistently warm, though after years of running the site, they now appear to be doing the bare minimum, with a shop frozen in time. Sanitary blocks, while dated and sometimes off-putting, are generally kept clean, but cleanliness has sharply declined in some reviews. Showers use a card system limiting three minutes per use. The campsite is pricey compared to Dutch standards, but that aligns with Danish norms. The surrounding countryside offers stellar hiking and cycling routes, and the North Sea coast is just 250 meters away, boasting one of Denmark's finest beaches. A lighthouse and church are nearby must-sees. While some visitors cut their stay short due to neglected facilities, others praise the tranquility, large pitches, and the new young owners' efforts to refresh the place. The well-equipped kitchen with a distant sea view and a friendly dining area add charm. Despite ups and downs in maintenance, the natural setting remains spectacular, and many guests express a strong desire to return.
