Bospark Lunsbergen is a spacious, family-friendly campsite located right next to the Gieten-Borger nature park in the eastern part of Drenthe province. The elongated terrain is divided into separate areas for different types of guests: holiday homes, bungalows, annual pitches, and tourist camping pitches are all grouped together on grassy fields surrounded by trees and dense shrubbery. The tourist pitches are separated from the permanent ones, and most fields have small playgrounds, making it easy for parents to keep an eye on their children. The main roads are asphalted, and the campsite offers an covered swimming pool with a depth of 60-140 cm, plus a separate toddler pool. Dogs are welcome, and there is a dedicated dog-walking field. The on-site restaurant offers culinary packages, and you can also rent a gourmet set for cooking at your own accommodation. A bread service is available for fresh breakfast rolls. For sporty families, children can join craft activities with the campsite mascot Koos Konijn, participate in tournaments or sports activities, and enjoy a weekly horse-drawn carriage ride. The campsite is close to attractions like Indoor Plopsaland in Coevorden, Slagharen amusement park, Sprookjeshof, and the sheepfold in Exloo. The Boomkroonpad treetop path in Boswachterij Gieten Borgen is a must-see. The campsite has 150 tourist pitches, 140 serviced pitches, 128 annual pitches, and 212 rental accommodations, all with private sanitary facilities. Pitch sizes are 100-100 m². Facilities include WiFi on all pitches, a minimarket, snack bar, and baby changing room. Sports and activities feature minigolf, beach volleyball, archery, e-bike and bicycle rental, and horse riding lessons nearby. The campsite has a chemical toilet disposal point, grey water drainage, washing machines, and gas bottle exchange. It is wheelchair accessible with adapted sanitary facilities. Public transport is 200 m away, and the nearest village center is Borger at 3 km. The campsite is near a highway.
