This campsite is conveniently located about an hour's drive from San Sebastián, making it a good base for day trips. Nestled at the foot of the Pyrenees, it enjoys a stunning mountain backdrop and a prime location for exploring the region. The nearby village is a delight, featuring a charming Basque-style café that adds local flavor to your stay. On-site facilities are well-maintained and meet travelers' basic needs comfortably. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, offering excellent opportunities for hiking. Overall, the campsite provides a peaceful setting for travelers who enjoy nature, though it's wise to avoid the sections near group activities if you prefer silence. While not every pitch is ideal for tent camping, the site was quiet enough during our stay that we could choose a suitable spot. A portion of the campground was occupied by a youth camp, and the pitches near that area tended to be noisy. The price feels somewhat steep given the absence of a beach or lake—something the ASCI brochure incorrectly hinted at. Despite the mention of swimming possibilities, no such options exist in the immediate vicinity. Overall, it is a beautiful spot for nature lovers, but those seeking on-site water recreation may be disappointed.
