Perhaps most surprisingly, given the high quality of service and setting, the rates are remarkably affordable. Many guests express a strong desire to return, viewing the site as a place for repeated visits. The glowing feedback underscores a well-managed operation that delights its guests. Some pitch layouts are pleasant, adding to the charm. The showers are very basic and cost extra, which feels like poor value. However, the overall experience has been marred in the past by serious service issues. The owner was once abrupt and insisted on speaking German rather than politely requesting a language switch. At checkout, only cash was accepted, including for the tourist tax, and the owner became angry when a guest requested to pay by card. No invoice was provided, raising concerns about whether the tourist tax would be properly remitted. The owner claimed ACSI bookings must be paid in cash and threatened to add extra charges for card payments. These past interactions created an atmosphere of distrust and poor customer care.
