This well-run campsite combines an intimate, park-like setting with the convenience of being just a short walk from the beach, a shop, and restaurants. Despite its proximity to a typically busy stretch of coast, the site itself remains remarkably tranquil both during the day and at night. Many guests have enjoyed pleasant stays even without a reservation, though advance booking is recommended as spots can fill up. The staff are consistently described as exceptionally friendly, helpful, and hardworking, keeping the grounds and facilities in top condition. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with sanitary blocks—some slightly older—always well-maintained and tidy. The gravel-and-grass pitches are visually appealing, comfortable for dogs, and can accommodate large units like twin-axle caravans. One recurring minor complaint is the small size of the toilet and shower cubicles, though the showers themselves are in excellent condition. Road noise can be noticeable during the day, but it is much more tolerable at night, especially in the low season. A short walk to the right from the campsite leads to a quieter section of the coast, while a dog beach is available but requires a longer walk. With an ACSI card, the site offers excellent value for money, and many guests express eagerness to return. The surrounding area is bustling and touristy directly at the beachfront, so visiting before or after peak season provides a more relaxed and affordable experience. The campsite’s charm lies in its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful grounds, and well-cared-for pitches, making it a wonderful base for exploring the coastline.
